The Tomato Bistro serves its clientele with inspiration from The Couch Tomato Café favorite specialty salads and gourmet pizzas, along with a dynamic clutch of “small plate” menu options (and much more), brought to you by Chef Christian Gatti (Avril, Bala Cynwyd).
The desire to further pander to customers palates is facilitated through touting a rotating list of featured wines and craft beers. The craft beer list is a hyper selective catalog, which rotates frequently to compliment the menu as well as the seasons and most importantly, your palate.
The wine list has been crafted by the highly acclaimed international wine sommelier, Brian Freedman. An added caveat of the Bistro wine selection is its stringent discipline in selecting wines not simply found in nearby restaurants or state liquor stores, and providing them at very reasonable prices. Each of the Bistro signature pizzas will also be paired with its own specific vintage right on the menu. The Tomato Bistro has set its sights on becoming the premier stop on any beer or wine connoisseurs bucket list.
The Tomato Bistro is located above The Couch Tomato Café, at 102 Rector Street in Manayunk – PA, and is open seven days a week at 11AM – 10PM. FREE valet parking is also available – a rare commodity in Manayunk!
