Responsible for the administration and maintenance of the Radiation Protection/Chemistry program for the Salem and Hope Creek Generating Stations, including dosimetry, ALARA, and Chemistry support functions.
Major Job Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for the design and implementation of policies and procedures relating to both the Radiological and Chemistry programs ensuring that the regulatory and federal requirements are met.: Consults with station management on significant problems and acts as an advisor to resolve issues.: Responsible for interfacing with regulatory, state and/or federal agencies regarding Radiation Protection or Chemistry related issues.: Manages and ensures that the Radiation Protection and Chemistry training programs are in compliance with industry standards.: Responsible for industrial and employee relations and performance management of all personnel.: Maintain/develop operating budgets.: Maintain and insure that the support functions within Radiation Protection and Chemistry meet regulatory requirements.
Position Requirements: BS/BA Degree in Science and/or minimum of 10 years experience in Radiation Protection and/or Chemistry is required.: 5 years of supervisory experience.: Proven leadership/management expertise: Knowledge of a commercial nuclear power plant (BWR or PWR).
