The SAP Business Acceleration Program / TCO Program is one of the strategic advisory offerings from the Chief Customer Office and is focused on SAP's Strategic Customers and Key accounts. The Program helps customers, drive business value and outcome on three key pillars:
:Value Orchestration (Realize More Value from the SAP Investment)
:Innovation Validation (Align Innovation to Business Outcomes)
:Transformation (Continuous Improvement and Reimagination)
The end outcomes enable to drive business agility, run simple, improve operational excellence and manage risk while transforming for innovation. The deliverables include actionable recommendations and roadmaps along with quantified business outcomes, KPIs and savings potential. The audience is C:Level Executives from Business and IT. Since inception, the Program, has delivered over 150 workshops and the customers have realized tremendous value and the program is in increasing demand.
The Program is looking to hire a Director: Finance Transformation with strong leadership skills and domain and industry experience in the SAP Finance: Record to Report (R2R) Process using SAP S/4 HANA Central Finance, SAP ECC: Finance modules and BPC/ HANA Accelerators and reporting capabilities. Integration of Finance with other modules like Sales, Manufacturing and Logistics will be an added advantage.

Domain Experience:
Since Finance: R2R is a very broad and deep process covering multiple modules and sub:modules in ECC, BPC and add:on products, this position requires an all:round expertise in the SAP ECC Finance Solutions stack: primarily covering:
:A good understanding of the Finance Enterprise Structure and its alignment with Sales and Logistics,
:Strategic Finance involving Business Planning and Consolidation and its integration with Integrated Business Planning in Logistics.
:Financial Accounting and Close Processes involving New GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, inter:company settlements, eliminations, accruals and postings.
:Cost Accounting, Material ledger and Valuation, Product Costing and Profitability Analysis.
:Bank Management and Cash Application.
:Country Localization functionality using parallel ledgers.
:Reporting : Financial, Management and Statutory Disclosures.
:Revenue Accounting Reporting (RAR) to handle IFRS 15 requirements.
:A very good understanding of S/4 HANA Central Finance and BPC Optimized on HANA and ability to demonstrate/articulate how S/4 HANA Finance differentiates from ECC is an absolute must.
Job Expectations:
The role calls for strong leadership skills dealing with business audience at customers at C:Levels: ability to drive business conversations and engage in transformation topics are key to this role. The selected candidate will be expected to deliver Finance discovery workshops as per a pre:defined agenda typically lasting for 2:3 days onsite at the customer location.
