What you will be doing:The Insurance Administrator Assist Senior Facilities Analyst in all insurance:related areas, including liability, auto, property and environmental claims analysis and management. Communicate with attorneys, adjustors, brokers, agents, internal parties and other interested parties as necessary. Complete other initiatives and projects as directed by the Senior Facilities Analyst. Position provides support to other departments for information requests as directed. Claims Reporting and ManagementMonitor incident report filings from all properties; evaluate claims for severity and reportability. Maintain a database of all incidents and claims. Ensure proper information storage.Receive, log and monitor all snow reports. Ensure snow reports are submitted based on snow events.Ensure timely reporting of all insurance claims to the appropriate insurer and perform initial discovery and information gathering. Inform internal parties and partners as necessary.Track all claims and assistance insurance company with investigations. Monitor and review loss runs and participate in regular claims reviews with insurers.Report and manage lawsuits covered by insurance. Work with attorneys and internal parties on the discovery process, facilitating answers, interrogatories, requests for production of documents and depositions. Respond to requests from attorneys and adjustors.Property Loss Management : Third Party RecoveryIdentify, file and manage claims against residents and their renterA?s insurance policies for damages they cause. Work to recover damages from insurers.Work to recover damages in instances where the resident is uninsured.Qualifications:BachelorA?s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent from four year college; or two to four years administrative related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills a must.Customer service experience required.
