The Associate Product Director – Value capture & GP Optimization will report to the Senior Manager for Value Capture and GP Optimization - Trauma/ CMF/ Power tools. In conjunction with the Senior Manager, the incumbent of this role will own the development, execution, and management of the Trauma, CMF and Power Tools brand pricing strategy for the US market.

Major Responsibilities
• Using insights, develop and manage regional brand pricing i.e. list, target, and floor price points, to maximize value capture and profitability
• Manage and execute annual list price updates to optimize commercial results
• In collaboration with Global Strategic Marketing and Regional Platform Marketing, deliver new product introduction pricing strategies to maximize value capture
• Partner with Contract Strategy, Deal Desk, Contract Administration, Customer Management, and Field Sales on key platform pricing and value capture initiatives
• Partner with Contract Strategy, Deal Desk, Contract Administration, Customer Management, and Field Sales to execute appropriate communication and training to facilitate optimum business results at the time of introducing new value capture initiatives
• Provide tactical brand pricing expertise to Field Sales and Contract Strategy, Pricing and Administration teams
• In collaboration with cross functional partners, identify and implement strategies to improve gross profit margins
• Assist if and when requested to maximize achievable price in contracting and deal negotiations
• Communicate highly quantitative or analytical findings succinctly to executive management
• Provide direct pricing support to critical business change initiatives and support value capture work with partner & alliance companies


• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• A minimum of five (5) years of business experience is required.
• Demonstrated experience in business strategy and analytics is required
• Commercial marketing and/or finance experience is preferred.
• The ability to interpret and communicate complex business data is required
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional partners to impact decision-making is required.
• Experience and working knowledge of financial/ profitability metrics is preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and to successfully manage multiple projects/priorities is required. Business and financial acumen along with strong analytical skills are required.
• The ability to anticipate/proactively manage the needs of cross-functional constituents is required.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, mainly domestic, is required.
• Must have an intermediate to advance skill level with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred.
