The coordinator will assist with Work in Process (WIP) administrative functions to ensure work orders are opened and closed quickly, accurately and effectively Open work ordersResearch Prior repairs, service letters and warranty coverage prior to opening work orderDistribute Work Orders as neededMaintain central work order fileCoordinate all Cost Centers, Branch Job Segments : work orders, closings, invoicing, for all Service OperationsPrepare proformas for Service Managers review and customer purchases ordersOpen and close work orders for all shops as requiredEnter timecards, maintain timecard file, maintain labor log daily, and transmit to Payroll weeklyEnter misc. material charge out slips dailyMaintain work order as instructedProvide backup support for Service staffWarranty application : what type of coverages, how they apply, and audit requirementsAssist Service Management in a professional manner in terms of quotes, rebills, faxing, customer calls. work order closings or department analysisMaintain Service Libraries, including uploading of SIMS/Service ReportsSuch other duties as may be determined by the SupervisorReview work orders for discrepancies, errors and accuracyContinually review procedures for process improvementsExperience scheduling in a dealership (Diesel or Automotive) preferredInvoicing or billing experience preferredOutstanding administrative skills requiredExcellent computer and people skillsRansome is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Females, Protected Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities.
