Purpose and Objective of Position
The NA Services Sales Internship Program is designed to Attract, Develop and Retain early talent candidates for Services Sales through the concept of a providing a jump start during the period that students in process of completing their education.
The program is run through the office of the COO and allows interns to work on relevant and impactful Sales operations projects and activities supporting the overall mission of the program to identify and accelerate the development future full time employees. The SAP Services Sales Operations team is composed of business operations, demand generation, organizational effectiveness and productivity functions. In addition, the team orchestrates strategic growth initiatives, strategic partner relationships and education programs for the field.
Expectations and Tasks
Updates to process documentation, templates, online tools and training materials to reflect changes and simplifications to the overall opportunity management process.
Support the Sales Process Lead with the rollout and adoption of global processes influencing activities in the opportunity management process.
Working in combination with Sales, Presales, Delivery and Finance assist and support in the resolution of internal order issues and look for opportunities to stream line processes.
Develop content and deliver training to new hires under the guidance of the Sales Process lead.
Operations leadership support
Support the COO with the development and management of special initiatives and programs
Provide assistance with the execution of daily/monthly operational functions, including roll:out to operations team and field sales
Set up tools (i.e. jam, apps, etc.) required to grow a connection intelligence community for the members of the operations team.
Build and rollout a repeatable on:boarding program for new interns within the Office of the COO internship Program.
Participation in weekly meeting cadences and distribution of meeting minutes and actions items
Skills / Competencies
Fluent in English and local language, written and spoken
Demonstrated leadership in curricular, extra:curricular activities and athletics
Strong communication skills including an aptitude and passion for public speaking
Creative and resourceful self:starters with strong interpersonal skills who are eager learners
Possess a strong desire to work in a dynamic, fast paced sales organization
