Head of Analyst Relations :/h2:
The mission of Global Corporate Affairs is to build credibility and corporate reputation for SAP and its leaders with priority audiences through integration, compelling content and rapid execution.
Global Analyst Relations builds credibility for SAP with the industry analyst community, leverages analyst input to influence corporate strategy, and supports customer:facing success. The Analyst Relations (AR) team engages the analyst community to drive outreach, influence and visibility of SAP with all key industry analysts to advance SAP's position THE cloud company powered by SAP HANA and disrupt the information environment on select, highly relevant topics.
The Head of Analyst Relations will oversee a very proactive program, ensuring the analyst community is well informed and the SAP leadership, sales and product teams are well connected to the analysts and their research.
:Lead a team of established AR professionals in building relationships by driving thought:provoking and actionable dialogue between analysts and leaders to showcase the company and its strategy.
:Provide counsel, advice, and guidance to senior management.
:Mentor, train and lead global AR team and provide guidance and support to regional colleagues.
:Strengthen corporate relations with key analysts by managing a two:way flow of information and insight.
:Influence SAP corporate and portfolio strategy by securing analyst input, interpreting it, and circulating it.
:Develop and execute on an annual strategic corporate AR plan designed to protect and advance corporate reputation by securing analyst validation of SAP's products and services.
:Drive short listings, positive reports, research, media references, conference presentation inclusion, etc.
:Partner with the other members of GCA senior management to lead and coordinate priority:level activities to support overall corporate objectives and to ensure consistency in messaging and positioning for products and solutions across all integrated communications activities and programs.
:Working within a defined budget, effectively allocate resources to support the global AR program and manage monthly financial forecasts.
:Work in close coordination and collaboration with teams across the organization.
:Manage agency resources, as required.
:Bachelor's degree with focus on communications or equivalent; advanced degree preferred
:Fluency in English required; German and other languages are a plus
:Proven track record of interaction with executives/top management
:Excellent writing skills in English; German and other languages are a plus
:Strong background in AR and corporate communications, including established analyst relationships
:Knowledge about the global industry analyst firms and the analysts
:Understanding of / interest in SAP strategy and its technologies and applications
:Strong ability to competently and most professionally deal with confidential and sensitive information
:Demonstrated ability to work independently under pressure, managing resources and several projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
Work Experience
:15+ years professional work experience in analyst relations, public relations, or communications; 5+ years of analyst relations experience; and 5+ years of management experience.
:Experience of working with senior management
:Strong experience and knowhow in the IT industry
:Proven ability to develop integrated communications strategy and programs
