Major Job Duties/Responsibilities : Responsible for all aspects of outage planning and preparation, schedule development and implementation at Nuclear, including monitoring and coordinating pre:outage milestones and action items, budget, scope development and control, and outage risk assessments. Development of outage schedules for all outages at Nuclear. Develop and maintain long:range outage plan. Prepare pre:outage milestones, identify, schedule and track specific outage action items. Initiate and develop unit outage implementation plans, analyze and evaluate these plans to ensure the conduct of safe and efficient outages. Identify, negotiate, and recommend effective contingency plans to support achievement of outage goals. Monitor outage preparation and implementation of performance and create opportunities for outage optimization in time and cost savings. Monitor budget preparation and performance of outages and department. Perform GAP analysis against industry best outage performance and develop plans to improve station performance.
REQUIRED: BS degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent education/experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Nuclear outage scheduling or equivalent. Extensive knowledge of a commercial nuclear power plant (BWR or PWR). Previous leadership experience. Must meet Nuclears requirements for Unescorted Plant Access.
DESIRED: PWR Licensed Reactor Operator/ Senior Reactor Operator or Certification, System Engineering, preferred but not required.
