SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The Lead Foreman will be responsible for overall maintenance of a facility. Must be familiar with Amtraksafety standards and the specific needs of the Contact Center. Must have the ability to inspect anddiagnose problem situations and to communicate such problems in the form of a detailed report. Mustprepare reports as required. Must prepare weekly schedules to be followed by direct reports that includeinspections, progress, and areas that need attention. Will be responsible to assign, coordinate anddistribute work to direct reports and assist in performance of all duties of position including but notlimited to general repairs, sweep, vacuum, trash removal, cleaning of microwaves, refrigerators, workstations, etc. Must respond to E-mails regarding repairs, safety problems, and maintenance service
requests. The Foreman position has specific responsibilities and formal instructions to closely monitorall building related and local weather related scenarios. This is both during their tour, on rest days,and off-hours. The Foreman shall be trained on a list of trouble shooting techniques and given a list ofcontacts to call in the event of a Contact Center building system failure. Must be able to interact withvendors in a professional manner.
Demonstrated Facility Management, Building/Grounds Maintenance & Leadership Skills.
Be able to create a culture where safety is a top priority. Receive and ensure distribution of cleaningand maintenance materials, parcels and other shipments throughout the Contact Center. Must be able tooperate all tools and equipment related to the Contact Center. Must be physically able to lift up to 75lbs. Lifting requirements will include unloading of delivery trucks. Will be required to work indoors andoutdoors. Must have valid drivers license in order to pick up and deliver parcels and guests to thefacility and other areas as instructed.
