Description Reporting to the Assistant Executive Director, the Human Resources Director
administers a wide variety of policies and procedures related to employment, labor
contracts and employee relations, while possessing a thorough understanding of
relevant laws specifically those governing employment in public education. The Human
Resources Director must be able to analyze and modify compensation and benefits
policies for the purpose of establishing competitive programs. The individual is
responsible for directing internal staff operations, providing day-to-day guidance to
supervisors and maintaining delivery of external employment services. The oversight
of recruitment and implementation of new programs to enhance the Intermediate
Unit's ability to attract and retain talent is a critical component of this position. The
successful candidate may serve as chief negotiator in collective bargaining processes
for the purpose of negotiating labor agreements.
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree in job-related area and superintendent, principal or supervisor
certification or experience in human resources in an educational setting highly
preferred. Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility including at
least four years of school district or IU administrative experience also highly preferred.

Salary Range $129,081.00 - $160,000.00 / Per Year
