Seeking Claims Operations Clerk in Wilmington!We are seeking someone great for the Claims Operations Clerk position with a large insurance company.Position: Claims Operations ClerkLocation: Wilmington, 19803Type: ContractHours: Normal Office HoursJob Responsibilities: Handle customer Service phone calls from internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner.Provide accurate and complete information as requested.Utilize the imaging system and other available systems to index unidentified mail.Direct identified mail to correct entity or link documentation to the correct claim number.Opening and reviewing new correspondence, distribution of urgent correspondence and recognition of legal correspondence which requires immediate attention.Review all items in the Apollo First Notice of Loss FNOL queue. Validate item is not a duplicate claim notice. Identify correct handling entity. Forward FNOL to the identified owner via imaging system or complete registration or suspended registration as determined by current process.Complete daily tasks in a timely manner including, but not limited to: faxing, FedEx, mail sorting and delivery, scanning or priority items.Document preparation in Microsoft Word.Obtain policy information from Underwriters and file in central storage location as requested.Assist Claim Operations organization on special projects or assignmentsMaintain and update any local applications as instructed by Claims Operations Management.Job Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalentExcellent communication skills both written and oral as demonstrated by previous experienceProven ability to manage difficult calls with skill and tactDemonstrated ability to work under minimal supervisionGood organizational skills for establishing priorities; must be detail orientedAbility to balance multiple tasks and prioritize workload while using various applicationsNeed to be flexible and adaptable to changing business needsAbility to understand insurance terms to identify important documentsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and strong keyboarding skillsPlease apply with updated resume for immediate consideration.Do not contact your local Kelly branch as they are not filling this position.Why Kelly(R)?At Kelly Services(R), we work with the best.
