Christiana Care Health System is currently seeking a Business Operations Coordinator for the Gene Editing Program at the Helen F Graham Cancer Center.
In this role you will perform, coordinate and manage financial, budgetary and contractual duties required for the operation of the Gene Editing Institute (GEI) program, under the direction of the Director of the GEI Program/Helen F. Graham Cancer Center and Research Institute (HFGCC and RI). You will oversee of all grants, contracts and revenue earning projects. Review all related effort assignment of personnel to each project to track for Federal Grants. Prepare budgets for grant applications; review with personnel of the HFGCC and RI Finance Office. Monitor expenditures and meet with personnel in HFGCC and RI Finance Department.
Gather, investigate, research and analyze material relative to activities and services.
You will also determine feasibility of new programs and provide input in the development of the department's business and strategic plans, including timely updates. Meet with HFGCC and RI Finance office to complete monthly billing and receivables report for Cancer Research.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Management, Healthcare Administration Finance or related field.
3 :5 years' experience in a finance or budget position within a health care organization. Previous experience with grant management required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
This position is grant funded and although continuation is likely it is not guaranteed.
