Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading international law firms with almost 4000 lawyers and staff in 30 offices is seeking an Administrative Assistant - Practice Growth & Performance reporting to the Senior Manager, Practice Growth & Performance. This position will reside in the Philadelphia office and will be responsible for providing support to a wide range of activities related to the management of the overall planning, coordination and administration of various programs and processes related to Practice Growth and Performance, including the identification and recruiting of lateral partners. In addition to the Senior Manager, Practice Growth & Performance, this position will support the Partner Recruiting Specialist to execute on a variety of directives from the Managing Partner for Practice.Responsibilities: * Correspond with partners to secure availability for lateral partner interviews/internal meetings* Draft confirmation/agenda emails for lateral partner interviews* Prepare Morgan Lewis branded folders for all lateral partner candidate interviews which occur at all ML offices; this includes the preparation of meeting schedules and agendas, preparing bios of ML partners involved in the interviews, and practice-specific and firm level marketing materials* Request executive summaries on potential lateral partner candidates* Draft feedback requests at the conclusion of lateral partner meetings and assist with compiling reporting for firm management* Accurately request and provide confirmations on a high volume of videoconferences for lateral partner meetings and practice group leader meetings * Prepare meeting schedulers for interviews and practice leadership meetings* Maintain complete hard copy files of all primary lateral partner candidates for the Firm Managing Partner for Practice and members of the Management Committee, as requested * Arrange for conference room and catering services for various meetings as required* Coordinate expense reimbursements for lateral partner meetings* Maintain accurate and detailed records in the lateral partner recruiting database* Assist with the development of PowerPoint materials for various firm management presentations* Administrative support for projects and tasks as directed by firm management and department members* Schedule all Practice Group Leader meetings and assisting with the coordination and printing of various documentation/materials* Schedule firm management meetings and conference calls as required* Perform a variety of ad hoc administrative tasks as assigned.Experience/Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university, and* Minimum of three years related experience, preferably in a professional services industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.* Detail oriented; strong planning and organizational skills* Excellent written and oral communication skills * Strong customer service orientation; interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff* Self-starter; proactive* Project management skills; the ability to work independently and as part of a team* Strong problem solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment* Ability to adapt to change and balance competing demands* Ability to read and interpret general business and professional publications, prepare business correspondence and reports, and speak effectively with employees, clients, and vendors.* Advanced arithmetic skills (compute rate, ratio, percent; able to draw and interpret graphs and charts)* Ability to carry out written, oral or diagrammed instructions, involving several variables, in routine situations* Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Power Point, and Excel), and Outlook.Qualified candidates must apply online by visiting our website at and selecting "Careers."
