The Role

The Financial Analysis Specialist, you will perform and deliver on management reporting assignments supporting the Retirement Plan Services business. You will prepare, analyze and report on financial information and provide management with a financial perspective for your assigned area(s) of responsibility. Fulfilling ad:hoc requests and special project support is also required.


:Create monthly business scorecards for RPS Management
:Create monthly and quarterly sales, termination and flow analysis and reporting
:Create quarterly product profitability analysis
:Create monthly and Quarterly Book of Business reporting
:Create Plan Sponsor termination reporting and analysis
:Oversee sales, deposits and net flow activity in reporting systems on a monthly and quarterly basis while also analyzing results
:Produce monthly business scorecards while also analyzing results and trends
:Assist with preparation of earnings and profitability analysis on a quarterly basis
:Responsible for distribution allowable analysis
:Prepare regular and ad:hoc financial analyses and financial modeling that support business needs to increasingly understand performance/profitability in various capacities
:Analyze and report on plan sponsor termination activity and support related messaging
:Promotes and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives


:Undergraduate degree or 4+ years of comparable work experience

:1:3+ years experience in Financial Analysis that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
:Strong analytical skills with ability to develop and effectively present financial information
:Ability to work in fast:paced role with little supervision, self:starter
:Demonstrates solid relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers and colleagues and various business partners: Marketing, Client facing areas: Relationship / Account Management, Corporate Finance, LFD Finance, Mgt Information Reporting, etc)
:Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style
:Effective time management and organizational skills
:Ability to work effectively and independently within prescribed time constraints
:Demonstrates ability to identify and recommend processes improvements
:Strong team ethic
:Ability to work through stressful or challenging scenarios
